According to our primary research, we found that youths believe that Prudential's target audience is working adults rather than youths and among our interviewees and survey respondents, only a minority of them have purchased an insurance plan for themselves. So, we have assumed that the majority of Prudential's customers are working adults and not youths.
Our solution's target audience is youths and our goal is to empower youths to feel more secure about their future through the use of PruLink. Therefore, our solution can assist Prudential to broaden their customer base by including youths via our youth centric content and design.
BUILD BRAND AWARENESS FOR PRUDENTIAL
As demonstrated in our solution, we aim to assist youths in feeling more secure about their future and to reflect a different perspective of Prudential in the eyes of youths. PruLink demonstrates Prudential's enthusiasm and dedication in forging relationships and concern for the youths' future by connecting with them through this app.
According to our primary research, most youths will purchase insurance when they have a stable income or have reached adulthood. Similar to how Nestle's Milo has promoted their products by going around primary and secondary schools to provide free Milo for the students, it has helped to build their brand awareness as the students grow up with their brand.
So, Nestle's Milo has inspired us to build brand awareness in a similar way. By providing a solution to youths to help them feel more secure about their future as they develop to become a working adult, they will also be growing up with Prudential. Hence, Prudential can benefit from this in the long-run because Prudential's name has been instilled in their minds from a young age and they will therefore, naturally turn to Prudential to purchase their insurance plans.


PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR FUTURE PARTNERSHIPS
PruLink requires companies from various industries to participate in the mentoring and job shadowing processes. This is a great opportunity for Prudential to broaden their connections with many different industries as well as companies, which makes it easier for Prudential to collaborate with other companies on future projects if there is ever a need to.
